Privacy Policy

Effective: July 2026

What we collect

You give us: email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider — we never see it), username, home state, your picks, and anything you post. Created by playing: results, points, wins, titles, league memberships, recruit counts, and preference settings.

What's public — on purpose

This is a public competition site. Your username, state, picks, results, standings, titles, badges, and league posts (to your league) are visible to other players. Your email is never public and is used only for login, verification, password resets, and — only if you opt in — notifications.

Who processes it

We run on Google Firebase (authentication + database) and Netlify (hosting + serverless functions). Sports data comes from ESPN's public feeds; odds from licensed odds providers. Each processes data under their own policies. We don't sell your data, run ad trackers, or do behavioral advertising. If we ever host a single sponsor, it will be a static banner, not a tracker.

Cookies & storage

We use browser local storage for login sessions and app preferences. No third-party advertising cookies.

Deleting your account

Ask the commissioner (contact in the footer) and we'll delete your profile — your username disappears from boards and future displays. Archived event results are competition records and may retain your anonymized score line. Login credentials are deleted from the auth system.

Kids

The League is 18+. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; such accounts are deleted on discovery.

Changes

We'll update this page if practices change, and note the new effective date above.
